Website terms

ENTITY
Wacky Engineering LLC
UPDATED
August 3, 2026

These Website Terms (“Terms”) govern access to and use of wackyengineering.com and content provided by Wacky Engineering LLC (“Wacky Engineering,” “we,” “our,” and “us”). By using this website, you agree to these Terms.

Additional terms apply to merchandise purchases, giveaways, CORE, and third-party services. The CORE Terms Addendum below supplements these Terms and controls if the two conflict about CORE. If you do not agree to the applicable terms, do not use that feature or service.

SECTION 01

Acceptance & scope

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you use the website on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

These Terms apply to this website. The addendum below provides the additional terms governing CORE; separate terms govern merchandise transactions, sweepstakes, social platforms, and other linked services.

SECTION 02

Projects, builds & site information

Build videos, project descriptions, product information, measurements, diagrams, opinions, and other website content are provided for general informational and entertainment purposes. They are not professional engineering, electrical, structural, safety, legal, or other regulated advice.

Projects and tools can involve electricity, heat, moving parts, chemicals, sharp objects, machinery, or other hazards. Evaluate conditions independently, follow manufacturer instructions and applicable codes, use appropriate protective equipment, and consult a qualified professional when needed.

We try to keep website content accurate and available but do not promise that every description, price, product image, link, specification, or availability status will always be complete, current, or error-free. Live merchandise price and availability are confirmed by Fourthwall at checkout.

SECTION 03

Merchandise store

Fourthwall, Inc. is the seller and Merchant of Record for merchandise purchased through the Wacky Engineering shop. Product orders are transactions directly between the purchaser and Fourthwall. Fourthwall handles checkout, payment processing, production, fulfillment, shipping, returns, and refunds.

Merchandise transactions are governed by Fourthwall’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy , together with the applicable product and checkout disclosures. Our Returns & FAQ summarizes the current support process but does not override Fourthwall’s controlling terms or non-waivable consumer rights.

Items placed in the local cart are not reserved. A purchase is complete only when Fourthwall accepts the order and confirms payment. Prices, shipping, taxes, payment methods, promotions, and availability may change before checkout is completed.

SECTION 04

Giveaways & promotions

Each sweepstakes, giveaway, contest, or promotion is governed by its posted Official Rules. If these Terms conflict with the Official Rules, the Official Rules control that promotion. No purchase is necessary where stated, and eligibility restrictions apply.

SECTION 05

CORE, channels & third-party services

The website links to CORE and to third-party services such as Fourthwall, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and email providers. The CORE Terms Addendum governs CORE. Each third party’s terms, privacy policy, availability, and security practices govern your use of its service.

A link, mention, integration, or embedded product reference does not by itself constitute an endorsement, warranty, or assumption of responsibility for a third party.

SECTION 06

Ownership & permitted use

The website, Wacky Engineering names and logos, original graphics, designs, text, videos, photographs, and other original content are owned by Wacky Engineering or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and share links to publicly available pages for personal, noncommercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, republish, remove attribution from, or create derivative commercial works from protected content without written permission, except as allowed by law.

SECTION 07

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the website; interfere with its operation or security; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malware; scrape or automate access in a manner that creates unreasonable load; impersonate another person; violate another person’s rights; or use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.

We may restrict access or take other reasonable action when necessary to protect the website, users, providers, or legal rights.

SECTION 08

Disclaimers & limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wacky Engineering will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the website or its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

SECTION 09

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise, disputes relating solely to these Terms or this website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Sedgwick County, Kansas.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

SECTION 10

Changes & contact

We may revise these Terms as the website, services, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

CORE TERMS ADDENDUM

CORE Family Hub Terms Addendum

Effective August 3, 2026 · Version 2026-08-03.1

This addendum applies to the hosted CORE Family Hub service at core.wackyengineering.com and official preview environments. It supplements the general Wacky Engineering Terms. If this addendum conflicts with the general Terms about CORE, this addendum controls.

Service, price, and eligibility

CORE is a beta household-organization service for shared displays, tablets, phones, and computers. The hosted service is currently free for personal and household use. Wacky Engineering may introduce prospective limits or paid offerings only on notice; continued use of a paid offering would require the displayed purchase or subscription terms.

Every person with an individual CORE sign-in account must be an adult who is at least 18, or the legal age of majority where they live. Only an adult may establish a household, accept terms for a household, manage accounts, submit Community content, or configure integrations. Children and teens may use adult-managed family profiles and supervised shared-display access, but may not create or receive individual sign-in accounts.

The household owner is responsible for invitations, roles, managed profiles, adult PINs, shared displays, integrations, and household content. Everyone with physical access to a shared display may see and change unprotected content.

Household content

Users retain ownership of private household content and grant Wacky Engineering a non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise use it only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, maintain, and improve CORE’s reliability and comply with law. Users must have the rights and household authority needed to provide the content.

The CORE Privacy Addendum explains the limited operational circumstances in which authorized Wacky Engineering personnel and service providers with privileged system access may technically access household information.

Sensitive and regulated information

CORE is intended for ordinary household organization. Users may not use CORE as a system of record for Social Security numbers, government identification, payment-card or bank credentials, tax records, passwords or private authentication keys, detailed medical or clinical records, legal-privileged documents, intimate images, surveillance recordings, or other highly sensitive or regulated information. Supported third-party credentials may be entered only through the designated integration controls.

Ordinary household context—such as an appointment title, allergy, food preference, or medication reminder—is permitted, but CORE is not a medical-record system.

CORE is not offered as a HIPAA, GLBA, PCI, financial, clinical, legal-record, emergency, or life-safety system. Users are responsible for maintaining separate systems, professional advice, native controls, and records where legal compliance, safety, or specialized handling is required.

AI and integrations

AI is optional and output may be inaccurate or unsuitable. Users must review it. AI is not medical, legal, financial, educational, nutritional, safety, or emergency advice. Users are responsible for prompts, generated content, provider accounts, and API keys.

Home Assistant and other integrations can affect physical devices. CORE is not a life-safety, security, medical, fire, environmental, or emergency-control system. Do not rely on it where delay, error, loss of connectivity, or unintended execution could cause harm. Maintain native controls and safety devices and verify important commands.

Third-party services have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and limits. Wacky Engineering may change or discontinue an integration if access, provider terms, security, or technical requirements change.

Acceptable use

Users may not access another household without authorization; bypass controls; misuse credentials, pairing codes, invitations, or API keys; store prohibited high-risk or regulated records; upload unlawful, malicious, privacy-invasive, or infringing content; harass, exploit, endanger, shame, or unlawfully monitor a person; scrape or overload the service; manipulate Community ratings or identity; or resell the hosted service without permission.

Account and device security

Users must take reasonable steps to secure shared displays, adult PINs, multi-factor authentication methods, API keys, provider accounts, and logged-in devices; remove access that is no longer authorized; and promptly report suspected account, household, device, credential, or integration compromise to Wacky Engineering.

Beta warranty and liability

CORE is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wacky Engineering disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement and does not warrant that household data, AI output, weather, schedules, recipes, nutrition information, notifications, device state, or commands are accurate, safe, complete, timely, or available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wacky Engineering is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages or for loss of data, use, goodwill, profits, household property, or third-party service access. Total liability arising from the hosted CORE service will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount paid to Wacky Engineering for CORE in the prior 12 months. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Termination, changes, and law

Wacky Engineering may restrict or terminate access for a material Terms violation, security threat, unlawful activity, provider requirement, or service discontinuation. Where practical, notice and an opportunity to export or correct an issue will be provided. Material policy changes receive a new version, and normal CORE accounts will be asked to accept the current Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy again.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kansas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles and without overriding consumer protections that cannot be waived. Contact Wacky Engineering and allow 30 days for informal resolution before filing a claim, without limiting reports or remedies guaranteed by law.
