These additional terms apply only when a signed-in household adult deliberately submits a recipe snapshot to the CORE Community Cookbook.
The CORE Terms and Privacy Policy also apply. Contributors affirmatively accept the current version of these separate terms when submitting a recipe snapshot.
Eligibility and identity
Contributors must be signed-in household owners/adults and at least 18 or the legal age of majority. A Community name should be a pseudonym and must not impersonate someone or reveal unnecessary personal information.
Submitted snapshot
CORE stores a separate snapshot of the recipe and Community name plus consent, moderation, import, and rating records. Later private edits do not update the snapshot. Unsupported external images are omitted.
Rights
The contributor keeps ownership and represents that they created the material or have permission to share it. AI-generated material must be reviewed. Do not submit confidential/personal information or copied expressive text or images without permission.
License
The contributor grants Wacky Engineering a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, validate, moderate, format, display, distribute within CORE, and technically adapt the snapshot, and to let signed-in CORE households import and edit independent copies for personal household use.
No payment
Submission is voluntary and unpaid. No royalty, revenue share, employment, endorsement, or attribution beyond the approved Community name is promised.
Moderation
Nothing is discoverable until approved. Wacky Engineering may approve, reject, unpublish, suspend, or remove content for quality, safety, privacy, rights, technical, legal, or policy reasons. Approval does not verify nutrition, allergy/food safety, accuracy, ownership, or suitability.
Revisions
A changed private recipe must be submitted again, the current terms accepted again, and the revision approved. The last approved version may remain visible while review is pending.
Withdrawal and deletion
Withdrawal immediately stops new discovery/imports. Permanent deletion hides the listing immediately and queues CORE’s Community-hosted copy for deletion after 30 days, subject to legal preservation. Independent copies already imported into other households cannot be recalled.
Privacy
The catalog exposes the Community name and approved recipe, not the contributor’s email, household, account ID, or Family Profile. Wacky Engineering privately links the Community identity to the adult account for moderation, rights requests, abuse prevention, and deletion.
General terms
The CORE Terms and Privacy Policy also apply. The version stored with a submitted snapshot is the version accepted for that submission.
